The box office at the Booth Theatre will open on Sept. 6. Tickets are already available to American Express card holders.

Dana Ivey, Pamela Gray, James McMenamin and Julian Ovenden are also in the cast of the show, which will have its opening night at Broadway's Booth Theatre on Oct. 25. First preview is Oct. 5. Nicholas Martin directs. Producer Elizabeth I. McCann presents the Huntington Theatre Company's production of the play.

Ivey is the Broadway and Off-Broadway veteran who starred last season at Irish Rep in Mrs. Warren's Profession. She received a Tony nomination for her recent Broadway turn in The Rivals. One of her first major New York roles was in Gray's Quartermaine's Terms.

Ovenden is the English actor whose played the Baron in the Donmar Warehouse production of Grand Hotel and Franklin Shepard in Merrily We Roll Along, also at the Donmar. On television, he has appeared in "Foyle's War" and "The Forsythe Saga," and series "Related."

McMenamin appeared in BFE at Playwrights Horizons. Gray was seen on Broadway in Night Must Fall. Nathan Lane starred in a critically acclaimed production of Butley at The Huntington in 2003, also directed by Nicholas Martin. The Huntington staging began Oct. 24, 2003, for a run through Nov. 30. Lane played a literary professor who loses his wife and lover in the same day.

The dark comedy premiered at the Morosco Theatre on Broadway Oct. 31, 1972. British thespian Alan Bates, who originated the title role in the Harold Pinter-directed London production, reprised his portrayal to Tony-Award winning success.
