New Yorkers hoping to see a visual record of Broadway history can always take lunch at the Broadway Grill restaurant and gaze at the costumes and props that line the walls. But what if you're in Columbus, OH? Well, now through the end of February, theatre lovers can visit the second floor display of the Columbus Metropolitan Library (96 South Grant Ave.) and see costumes from touring productions that played in the area this season.
On view will be pieces from Les Miserables, including Valjean's coat and Javert's uniform; the ball gown worn by Haley Mills in The King And I; and sketches and photos from Cats and State Fair.
The exhibit is sponsored by the Broadway Series Education Program of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Series.
