Claiborne Cary, Jeff Harnar, Mark Nadler and KT Sullivan are among the cabaret artists who will perform to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS June 28 in "Cabaret On the Record -- Volume 6, Part I" at the Triad.

Also performing will be Judy Barnett, Barbara Fasano, Eric Michael Gillett (soon to be making his Broadway debut in Kiss Me, Kate), Rick Jensen and Melanie Vaughan (Parade). Special surprise guests are also expected.

"Cabaret On the Record" conceiver and producer Maryann Lopinto directs. Wes McAfee is the musical director. Former WQEW radio program director Stan Martin hosts the event.

"Cabaret On the Record," in its sixth year, features performers who have recorded their own CDs. The second part of the series will be in the fall with a date and performers to be announced.
