News   Cabaret Cares Series to Feature Stars from The Producers and Naked Boys Singing

Cabaret Cares, a new Monday-night cabaret series presented by Joseph John Productions and Raise the Bar Productions, will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Each week performers from the worlds of cabaret, Broadway and Off-Broadway will entertain at the Hideaway Room at Helen's to raise funds for BC/EFA. The series will kick off Aug. 8 with cabaret singers KT Sullivan and Karen Kohler. Aug. 15 will boast cast members from the Tony-winning musical The Producers, and Aug. 22 will feature actors from the long-running Off-Broadway hit Naked Boys Singing. Additional entertainers will be announced shortly.

The Hideaway Room at Helen's is located in Manhattan at 169 Eighth Avenue. Cover charges — which will be donated to BC/EFA — range from $25-$35, and there is also a $15 food/drink minimum. Call (212) 206-0609 for reservations.
