News Cabaret Favorite Will Return With First Solo Show in Nearly a Decade Five-time MAC Award winner Tom Andersen will offer his first solo show in nearly a decade next month at Don't Tell Mama.

Entitled My Favorite Sings, performances at the W. 46th Street venue are scheduled for Aug. 2, 9 and 16 at 7 PM.

The evenings will feature tunes from Tony-winning musicals, as well as pop and country songs. Andersen will also introduce a couple of numbers from Simply Sinclair, a new show he's written with his musical director, James Followell.

Andersen has played Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Town Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. He has headlined at the Algonquin, Eighty Eights, the Firebird Cafe, Maxim's, the Russian Tea Room and Tavern on the Green. He has also received five Backstage Bistro Awards and two Nightlife Awards for his singing, songwriting and recording.
