When Brooke Shields isn't onstage playing Sally Bowles in the current Broadway Cabaret, she also isn't sitting at home in her room. On Oct. 24 she'll come hear the music play (of Paul Shaffer and his orchestra) as she guests on "Late Show with David Letterman."
Shields, who also appeared in Grease! but is best known for such films as "The Blue Lagoon" and "Brenda Starr" and the TV series "Suddenly Susan," finishes her run in Cabaret Oct. 28, with Gina Gershon coming back to the role Oct. 30.
Pre-taped in the late afternoon, Letterman airs weeknights 11:35 PM to 12:35 AM (ET) on CBS.
Another upcoming Letterman guest is The Talent Family's Amy Sedaris, late of The Book of Liz, arriving Oct. 31.
