Tiffany Engen will stage the production that runs through July 28. The engagement will utilize the original Broadway direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, Kinky Boots). Darryl Archibald will musical direct.

Degerstedt was part of the Center Theatre Group production of Jason Robert Brown's 13 – she will star as Harvard Law Student Elle Woods. Bauer, who appeared on Broadway in the 2003 revival of Gypsy and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, will play Emmett.

The cast will also include Taylor (The Marvelous Wonderettes) as Paulette, Storrs as Vivienne and LeMay as Professor Callahan.

Legally Blonde has music and lyrics by both Laurence O'Keefe (Bat Boy: The Musical; Cam Jansen and the Curse of the Emerald Elephant; Sarah, Plain and Tall) and Nell Benjamin (Cam Jansen; Sarah, Plain and Tall; The Mice) and a book by Heather Hach (the film "Freaky Friday").
