As reported by the New York Post, Cady Huffman, currently appearing in Off-Broadway's Love Soup, will likely be back on Broadway in late fall or early winter. A spokesperson for Love Soup confirmed that Huffman will star in a new play with music titled Big Rosemary, a prohibition-era gangster farce. Blake Edwards, author and director of Broadway's Victor/Victoria, is penning the script. He's best known as a film director, with the Pink Panther series, 10, Mickey & Maude and S.O.B. among his credits.
Huffman received a Tony nomination for playing "Ziegfeld's Favorite" in The Will Rogers Follies. Other Broadway credits include La Cage aux Folles and Big Deal.
