News Cahoon, Winther, Jarrow and Conley to Be Featured in March 12 Speakeasy The songs of John Lennon, Joni Mitchell, Rufus Wainwright and Stephin Merritt will be featured in an evening entitled Speakeasy.

The March 12 concert at Birdland will boast the talents of The Wedding Singer's Kevin Cahoon, Mamma Mia!'s Michael Winther, Gorilla Man's Kyle Jarrow and Hello Boys' Michael Conley. Show time is 7 PM. The evening, according to press notes, will transform the legendary jazz club "into an old-school speakeasy with a new-fangled twist . . . [as] a host of Broadway's most unique personalities will take you back to the days of Billie Holliday, Nina Simone and Bobby Short."

Birdland is located in Manhattan at 315 West 44th Street. There is a $25 cover charge and a $10 food/drink minimum. Call (212) 581-3080 for reservations.
