Ted Farley, the Project's executive director, said in a statement, "Despite a growing amount of acceptance, LGBT young people still face a tremendous amount of rejection both at school and at home, simply because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. We are so thrilled to have such a talented group of performers volunteer their time to help bring attention to this cause."

Cast member Mientus added, "While the holidays can be a joyous time, they can also be an especially difficult time for anyone not surrounded by the love and support we expect from movies or old carols. By joining this event, I hope that anyone out there not feeling loved and accepted at this time of year sees that a great big community is waiting to embrace them and that better holidays are within their reach."

Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street. For more information and tickets, call (212) 967-7555 or click here.
