Ann Hampton Callaway, a major performer on the New York cabaret scene, will bring her show, Bring Back Romance, to Arizona's Berger Center For The Performing Arts, Tucson, for three performances, Nov.1-2, 1996. This will kick off The Invisible Theatre's 26th season. Callaway's concert will feature such standards as Rodgers & Hart's "My Funny Valentine" and "Isn't It Romantic," as well as some of the over 200 "Ann-dards" she's penned herself. Callaway can be heard singing her own composition, "The Nanny Named Fran," every week during the title sequence of CBS-TV's "The Nanny."
Callaway's CDs include "Bring Back Romance," "Ann Hampton Callaway," and "Sibling Revelry," which captured her concerts at New York's Rainbow & Stars with her sister, Liz Callaway. Last year, Ann Hampton Callaway appeared in "Broadway Swings" at Tucson's Centennial Hall.
