News Callaway Will Sing Cole Porter at the Kennedy Center in February Tony-nominated singer-actress Ann Hampton Callaway will pay tribute to the work of Cole Porter Feb. 13 at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Callaway's concert, titled So in Love: An Evening of Cole Porter, will be presented at 9:30 PM in the Kennedy Center's Terrace Room. "Enjoy a sexy, suave, and swinging time with vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway and her Trio, as they take a cosmopolitan romp through the Cole Porter songbook," according to press notes.

Not only a singer, Ann Hampton Callaway is also an acclaimed songwriter, whose works have been performed by Barbra Streisand, Patti LuPone and dozens of others. For her Broadway bow in Swing!, Callaway garnered a Tony nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and her many recordings include "Ann Hampton Callaway," "Bring Back Romance," "To Ella with Love" and "After Ours." Callaway is also a recipient of 14 Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Awards. Her newest recording is titled "At Last" (Telarc Jazz).
