Camp Broadway an innovative theatre experience dedicated to the art of performance and the behind-the-scenes craft of theatre magic, launches its Fall Weekend Program at Collaborative Arts Conservatory 21 (CAP21) Oct. 19 and 20 for campers ages 10-17.
The response to Camp Broadway's summer week-long pilot program was so overwhelming that unique, stand-alone weekend programs are now being offered during the school year. Each weekend offers complete immersion in a different Broadway show. In addition to training in singing, acting and dancing from Broadway's top professionals, the campers will attend a matinee performance, meet the stars, the creators, the behind-the-scenes talent and learn a number from the show.
Camp Broadway's Fall Weekends are:
October 19 & 20 -- Les Miserables
November 2 & 3 -- Bring in 'Da Noise...
November 9 & 10 -- The King & I
November 23 & 24 -- Grease!
Reservations for the Fall are now being accepted. The enrollment is limited to 32 campers per session and the cost is $295 per weekend, which includes all instruction, meals, snacks, master classes and theatre tickets. Camp hours are 9 AM - 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
