News Camp Broadway Pitches Its Tent at Pearl Studios NYC Camp Broadway, the summer program for 10-to-17-year-old kids who are passionate about the theatre, has a permanent home at Pearl Studios NYC. The Manhattan studio rental facility is now the company's year-round venue for workshops, camps and special events.

For over 15 years, Camp Broadway has conducted theatre arts programs at studios all over New York City.

Company founder Susan Lee said in a statement, "Camp Broadway has been a leader in presenting performing arts opportunities for theatre fans of all ages and skill levels. With the growing popularity of singing and dancing today, Camp Broadway needed a permanent home to take the company to the next level. We selected Pearl Studios NYC for our permanent residence because of their corporate commitment to providing a safe, comfortable and professional environment for the students, families, school groups and arts clients who visit their facility."

Pearl Studios NYC, located at 500 Eighth Avenue, between 35th and 36th Street, features 28 studios in various sizes. In July 2011, Pearl Studios will acquire an additional 12 studios at its new sister location directly across at 519 8th Avenue, allowing Pearl to offer a total of 40 studios.

The modern facility is approved by Actors' Equity Association and offers amenities ranging from audio/visual equipment to acoustical curtains and wood/Marley sprung floors. Visit www.pearlstudiosnyc.com for more details.
