Ron Campbell's one man show The Thousandth Night receives its San Diego premiere Jan. 9, 1999 at North Coast Repertory Theatre. The piece runs through Feb. 14, 1999. Written by Carol Wolf, The Thousandth Night tells a thousand tales as a prisoner struggles to survive in 1943's Occupied France by entertaining a group of French gendarmes with Scheherazade's Arabian Nights acted out for their amusement.

Jessica Kubzansky directs with set design by Marty Burnett and lighting design by Scott Sizeman.
