News Campion's Yellow Brick Road Down the Rabbit Hole to Make Limited New York Return Terri Campion's one-woman show Following the Yellow Brick Road Down the Rabbit Hole, which just finished performances at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse, will return in August to the Turtle's Shell Theatre for two more performances Aug. 14 and 21.

Campion penned the show in which she plays 18 different characters, some of whom share the stage simultaneously. Press notes state Following the Yellow Brick Road Down the Rabbit Hole "traces the heated struggles of Cissy, a young Catholic girl through adolescence as she searches for a solution to this quandary by challenging the restraints of the Catholic Church. In the course of her journey we meet friends, mothers, nuns, priests, siblings and others, all brought to life in an invigorating performance by the playwright, who seamlessly transforms from one character to another." Originally developed as part of The Culture Project's Women Center Stage Festival, Campion has performed Following the Yellow Brick Road Down the Rabbit Hole across New York City at the Cornelia Street Café, HERE, Emerging Artist's One Woman Standing Festival, Café Fez and Manhattan Theatre Source.

Following the Yellow Brick Road Down the Rabbit Hole is directed by Elowyn Castle with choreography by Mindy Haywood.
