An old sea tale takes a new twist, when The Captain's Boy, a camp musical by Clint Jeffries and Chris Jackson, debuts at The Bailiwick Arts Center in Chicago, Nov. 29-Jan. 3. The Captain's Boy tells the story of a group of pirates who, while plundering a Spanish Galleon, come across two unexpected treasures -- a Spanish lady and an unlocked trunk. The musical comedy sends up classic films like "Mutiny on the Bounty" and "Treasure Island" with gay themes and humor.
The Captain's Boy begins previews Nov. 29, for a Dec. 1-Jan. 3 run. For tickets ($15) or more information, call (773) 883-1090.
