News Cape Cod Theatre Project, with Keenan-Bolger, Cancelmi, Arkin and Purcell, Begins July 9 The 15th annual Cape Cod Theatre Project launches July 9 with Zohar Tirosh's Six in Falmouth, MA.

Running through Aug. 1, the Cape Cod Theatre Project will also showcase the work of playwrights Joe DiPietro (Memphis, Toxic Avenger), Anna Ziegler (BFF, Life Science) and Aladdin Ullah (Halal Brothers).

Directed by Ian Morgan, Tirosh's Six features Annie Purcell (The Coast of Utopia), Ronald Guttman ("Lipstick Jungle"), Darren Goldstein (Abigail's Party), Laura Esterman (Marvin’s Room), Gil Bar-Sela and Shelly Sussler.

In the play, press notes state, "a jet-lagged, sun-drenched, six-day trip to contemporary Israel collides with family, politics and the Six-Day War." (Through July 11).

Joe DiPietro's Creating Claire, under the direction of Christopher Ashley, features Celia Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee), Johanna Day (Proof) and Matthew Arkin (Dinner With Friends).

The new work is described as "an exploration of the supernova that results when science, faith and politics collide." (July 16-18). Following is Anna Ziegler's Photograph 51, with Elizabeth Jasicki (Abigail's Party), Matt Stadelman ("Rachel Getting Married"), Louis Cancelmi (The Singing Forrest), Ben Rappaport and Liam Craig, under the direction of Evan Cabnet.

The work is "based on the true story of Rosalind Franklin and her unaccredited contribution to the discovery of DNA's double helix." (July 23-25).

Hal Brooks directs Aladdin Ullah's solo work, Indio, in which "Aladdin rejects the legacy of his immigrant parents, until a PBS documentary forces him to uncover the journey of his father, Habib." (July 30-Aug. 1).
