News Cape Playhouse Season to Feature McGillin, Fowler, Foster, Cody, Huffman, Zimbalist and More Broadway's Howard McGillin, Beth Fowler, Hunter Foster, Jennifer Cody, Cady Huffman and Stephanie Zimbalist have been cast in the Cape Playhouse's 2010 summer season, which includes Grey Gardens, Tea at Five and Boeing-Boeing.

The season officially begins with Matthew Lombardo's Tea at Five June 7-19. Jenny Sullivan will direct Zimbalist as late acclaimed American actress Katharine Hepburn.

The Tony Award-winning thriller The 39 Steps, based on the Alfred Hitchcock film of the same name, will run June 21-July 3. The cast, who will portray over 150 characters, will include McGillin, Michael Keyloun, Jeffrey Kuhn and Margaret Robinson. Mark Shannahan will direct.

Director Mark Martino will deliver Christmas in July with Stuart Ross' Plaid Tidings July 5-17. The Plaids will be played by Cott Barnhardt, Will Reynolds, Jared Gertner and Scott Guthri.

Fowler and Jacquelyn Piro Donovan will star as the Beales in the Tony Award-nominated musical Grey Gardens July 9-Aug. 7. Pam Hunt will direct the musical based on the iconic documentary; the cast will also feature Vanessa Reseland, Tim Fritz-Gerald, John Schuck and Edwin Cahill. The musical has a book by Doug Wright, with a score by Scott Frankel and Michael Korie.

Marc Camoletti's 1960's farce Boeing-Boeing will land Aug. 23-Sept. 4. Jimmy Brennan is set to direct a cast including Foster, Cody and Huffman, as well as John Scherer and Kathel Carlson. The Cape Playhouse will also stage the Tony Award-winning musical Hairspray July 19-Aug. 7. Casting has not been revealed.
