News Carol Burnett Will Head to Staten Island for Audience-Interactive Evening of Laughter and Banter Carol Burnett, who was last seen on Broadway in the revival of Love Letters, will head to the St. George Theatre on New York's Staten Island May 9 for an evening of "off-the-cuff banter."

An Evening With Carol Burnett will be held May 9 at 8 PM and is described as a "rare opportunity to talk to Carol in the same enjoyable and intimate audience-interactive format" as "The Carol Burnett Show."

The theatre asks audiences to, "Come with your questions for what promises to be a hilarious evening with one of the country's most loved and respected performers. If there is one thing this renowned six-time Emmy Award entertainer can do better than anyone else, it's talk at length, impromptu, and entertain before a live audience."

The St. George Theatre will reopen after the winter months following a renovation to the seating area and rigging system. The season will also include The Wizard of Oz, presented by Plaza Theatricals, April 26 at 3 PM; and Shrek The Musical, presented by Plaza Theatricals, Oct. 25 at 3 PM.
