Theatrical press representative Carol Fineman

Fineman will close her self-named press firm. She left the Public Theater after Arlene Kriv was named its new director of communications effective July 15. Fineman will bring along clients such as the Worth Street Theatre Company (where she is a producer) and the Women's Project. She will rep such Barlow • Hartman Broadway shows as Movin' Out and the upcoming 700 Sundays and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang .

Fineman worked under New York Shakespeare Festival founder Joseph Papp, then JoAnne Akalaitis and, finally, the entire tenure of George C. Wolfe. The shift came as the Public is about to name a new producer to take the place of the departing Wolfe.

Other Barlow • Hartman associates include Bill Coyle, Jeremy Shaffer and Wayne Wolfe.
