The BBC Concert Orchestra will be performing a production of Richard Rodgers' Carousel at the Royal Festival Hall on June 15 and 16, with a cast of singers that includes Emily Loesser, Sophie-Louise Dann and Spencer McLaren, all conducted by David Charles Abell.
The concert is part of the ongoing celebration of the centenary of composer Richard Rodgers' birth, and will present one of his most lyrical and popular works.
Carousel was revised some years ago by the National Theatre, in a production directed by Nicholas Hytner, and was a great success.
