News Carrie St. Louis Will Join Broadway Cast of Rock of Ages Producers of the five-time Tony Award-nominated hit musical Rock of Ages announced April 3 that Carrie St. Louis will make her Broadway debut in the lead role of Sherrie beginning April 21 at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

St. Louis, who will succeed Kate Rockwell, originated the role of Sherrie in the Las Vegas production.

Rock of Ages, which is currently celebrating its fifth anniversary, opened on Broadway April 7, 2009, and played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre Jan. 9, 2011, before reopening at The Helen Hayes Theatre March 24, 2011. 

The Broadway company also features Aaron C. Finley as Drew, Joey Calveri as Stacee Jaxx, Genson Blimline as Lonny, Adam Dannheisser as Dennis, Cody Scott Lancaster as Franz, Randi Zuckerberg as Regina (through April 6), Paul Schoeffler as Hertz and Teresa Stanley as Justice. Rounding out the cast are Tessa Alves, Andrew Call, Cristy Candler, Tony LePage, Michael Minarik, Cassie Silva, Andre Ward and Neka Zang.

The musical is produced on Broadway and worldwide by Matthew Weaver, Michael Cohl and Jonathan Linden/S2BN Entertainment, in addition to Carl Levin, Jeff Davis, Barry Habib, Scott Prisand, Reagan Silber, Relativity Media, Janet Billig Rich and Hillary Weaver.
