Lydia R. Diamond's play will open at the New Jersey theatre Sept. 14, after previews. Directed by Shirley Jo Finney, the limited engagement will run through Oct. 14.
The cast will comprise Kevin T. Carroll, Javon Johnson, Monette Magrath, Julia Pace Mitchell, John Wesley and Michole Briana White.
Stick Fly, according to McCarter, is "a witty, incisive and heartfelt look at boundaries, class and a contemporary African-American family summering on Martha's Vineyard."
The design team features scenic designer Felix E. Cochren, costume designer Karen Perry, lighting designer Victor En Yu Tan and sound designer Darron L. West.
