Company of Angels presents John Bishop's The Trip Back Down opening Oct. 30 at the Angels Theatre in Silverlake. The play runs through Dec. 19.
Trip traces the path Bobby Horvath takes back to Mansfield, the small Midwestern town he left to become a NASCAR racer eight years before. Horvath sought to escape the small town thinking of his wife, child, family and friends, but after losing his position in racing, finds himself coming back to them.
Lee Magnuson directs Loanne Bishop, Barbara Ann Bush, Rob Elk, Michael Erger, Susan Foster, Terry Giles, Horace Martin, Danny Naten, Michael Riney, Larissa D. Skewes, Tom Slovick, Don Oscar Smith, Michael Taylor, Pamela Walker and Bernie Van De Yacht.
