Second Stage’s production of A Parallelogram, Bruce Norris’ dark comedy starring Celia Keenan-Bolger, is set to begin performances July 11. Rounding out the cast are Stephen Kunken, Juan Castano, and Anita Gillette.

Helmed by Dear Evan Hansen and War Paint director Michael Greif, Keenan-Bolger will play Bee, a woman who can click through different moments in her life with the touch of a remote control. “Past, present and future collide in this sharp existential comedy that questions whether we can make peace with those things we don’t have the power to change,” read production notes from 2ST. The play premiered in Chicago at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in 2010.
