Sir Peter Hall has announced the cast for his Broadway-bound production of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus which opens Oct. 10 at the Ahmanson and runs through Nov. 28. The stars are David Suchet (as Salieri) and Michael Sheen (as Mozart).

Other featured members of the company are Cindy Katz (Constanze), Michael Keenan (Van Swieten), J.P. Linton (Von Strack), David McCallum (Joseph II) and Terrence Rigby (Orsini-Rosenberg). The company members are Jeffrey Bean, Glynis Bell, Geoffrey Blaisdell, Jake Broder, Charles Janasz, Robert Machray, Dan Mason, Kate Miller, Kevin Orton, John Rainer, William Ryall, Rocco Sisto and John Towey.

This production of Amadeus comes to the Ahmanson direct from London and its much-praised West End engagement, where it received five Olivier Award nominations. Following its L.A. engagement, the production will transfer to Broadway, with a December 15 opening at the Music Box.

Amadeus is designed by William Dudley, with lighting design by Paule Constable and sound design by Matt McKenzie.
