LOS ANGELES -- Deanne Bray, James Foster, Elizabeth Karr, Missy Keast, Ron Kleiger, Christopher Kubasik, Rachel Postovoit, Victoria J. Tyler and Urusula Whittaker are the featured players in the world premiere of Robert Daniels' Hand to Hand, Foot in Mouth: An Unmusical, a Deaf West Theatre Company production opening Oct 17 at 8 PM at the Ventura Court Theatre for a three-week run. Directed by Pamela Hall, the cast is comprised of deaf and hearing actors. The show will be presented in American Sign Language, with voice interpretation for hearing members of the audience.

Deaf West Theatre Company is currently renovating its new, permanent home on Lankershim Blvd. in the NoHo Arts District, set to open in mid 1999. Under the leadership of artistic director Ed Waterstreet, the company was founded in 1991 to directly improve and enrich the cultural lives of the two million deaf and hard of hearing people who reside in the Los Angeles area.
