Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced July 6 several cast changes for the Tony-winning Broadway musical Kinky Boots, which continues at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Aaron C. Finley will take over the role of Charlie Price from Andy Kelso, with a first performance set for August 8, and Shannon O’Boyle will succeed Cortney Wolfson in the role of Nicola beginning July 25. Also, Haven Burton will return to the role of Lauren starting August 15, taking over for Jeanna de Waal.

Finley has been seen on Broadway in It Shoulda Been You and Rock of Ages. Burton's Broadway credits include Violet, Shrek, Legally Blonde and Rent. O'Boyle was previously seen on Broadway in Once the Musical.

With a Tony Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots is now in its fourth year at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street).

The musical, according to its producers, “tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family’s struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible… and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.”
