Created by Sarah Agnew, Nick Golfis and Chantal Pavageaux, the cast includes Agnew, Justin Caron, Paige Collette, Craig Fernholz, Golfis, Sam Johnson, Sam Krueger, Elise Langer, Eriq Nelson, Pavageaux, Jon Ross, Luverne Seifert, Zoe Sommers Haas and Jeffery Wells.
Relics is described as an "hour-long immersive experience that will utilize the Guthrie’s entire black box theater and lobby space. Similar to an interactive museum experience which invites audience engagement, this mind-bending performance has patrons on their feet inside the exhibit and allows them to see today through the cracked lens of tomorrow."
Set in 2314, the play concerns archaeologists who have discovered a "300-year-old colony in what used to be called North America, and you are invited to an exhibition of the artifacts they uncovered," according to the Guthrie.
The artistic team includes Nick Golfis (set designer), Marcus Dilliard (lighting designer), C. Andrew Mayer (sound designer), Eriq Nelson (musician), Justin Caron (costume designer) with choreography by Erin Search-Wells, Sam Johnson and Jeffery Wells of SuperGroup.
Single tickets start at $22 and are now on sale through the Guthrie Box Office at (612) 377-2224 and online at www.guthrietheater.org.
