The show has lyrics by Tom Greenwald and a book by Lippa and Greenwald. Produced by Lippa and Michael Croiter, the new recording is scheduled to be released June 16 on Broadway Records.

Tony nominee Baldwin (Big Fish) and Ryan, last seen on Broadway in Cinderella, comprise the entire cast of this 1995 musical about the relationships between Jen and her brother John, and later her son and his namesake. The story spans over 50 years and is a moving portrait of family, love and connections.

John & Jen began performances Feb. 10 at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row and concluded April 4. The album is produced by Lippa and Michael Croiter with musical direction by Lily Lang. This recording will include the premiere of the new song, “Trouble with Men," as well as new orchestrations and two songs from the score never before recorded.
