To celebrate 35 years of musical collaboration, the cast of Once On This Island will sing a variety of tunes from the songbook of its lyricist Lynn Ahrens and composer Stephen Flaherty.
The concerts are set for 7 PM and 9:30 PM July 18 at Feinstein’s/54 Below. The show will be directed by Haley Bennett and produced by Yael Silver. Alvin Hough Jr. will provide the musical direction.
Once On This Island recently received the 2018 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, and its chorus is honored with the 12th annual "ACCA" Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus from Actors' Equity Association June 19.
Ahrens and Flaherty are also represented on Broadway with Anastasia. The composing team's additional titles include Ragtime, Seussical, Lucky Stiff, My Favorite Year, A Man of No Importance, and Little Dancer.
