The single CD, which features music direction by Tom Shaw, boasts the talents of Brandon Finch (Albert), Kyle Payne (Prince), Scott Phillips (Godmother), Tomas Theriot (Payne), Steve Yates (Oscar), John Erreca (Truman), Jenifer Tice (Stepmother), Lisa Otterstetter (Esther Hazy), Julia Etzel (Esta Lieber), Caleb Haven Draper (Ensemble), Ken Handler (Ensemble), Donny Landers (Ensemble), Gilbert Michael (Ensemble), Jessica Payne (Ensemble) and Libby Wood (Ensemble). John Erreca conducts. Oh My Godmother!, which is subtitled "A Fabulous Fairy Tale," features words and music by Ron Lytle. The musical, according to press notes, "tells the hilarious story of Albert, a young gay man living in San Francisco with dreams of escaping his homophobic stepmother and stepsisters. Fate intervenes in his search for true love when he meets the dashing it-boy Prince. Toss in the reigning queens of Castro Street, a fabulous Fairy God'mother,' lots of zany humor, snappy dialogue and syncopated showstoppers."
