Casting is complete for the Riverside Theatre production of the jukebox musical Smokey Joe’s Café, which will play the Stark Stage in Vero Beach, Florida, October 23–November 11.
The songs of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller will be interpreted by Schyler Conaway (Michael), Ian Coulter-Buford (Ken), Alison Cusano (Pattie), André Jordan (Victor), Gabriel Mudd (Adrian), Summerisa Bell Stevens (DeLee), Jayne Trinette (B.J.), Khalifa White (Brenda), and Jamari Johnson Williams (Frederick).
Expect to hear such pop classics as “Jailhouse Rock,” “Stand By Me,” “Yakety Yak,” “Hound Dog,” “On Broadway,” “Spanish Harlem,” and more.
The creative team also includes music director Anne Shuttlesworth, scenic designer James Dardenne, costume designer Kurt Alger, lighting designer Yael Lubetzky, sound designer Craig Beyrooti, and production stage manager Mark Johnson.
