London News   Cast Set for World Premiere of Mike Bartlett’s Albion

Casting is now complete for the world premiere of Mike Bartlett's Albion, which will begin previews October 10 at the Almeida Theatre prior to an official opening October 17.

Directed by Artistic Director Rupert Goold, performances will continue at the London venue through November 24.

The previously announced Victoria Hamilton, who will star as Audrey Walters, will be joined by Nigel Betts, Edyta Budnik, Christopher Fairbank, Charlotte Hope, Margot Leicester, Vinette Robinson, Nicholas Rowe, Helen Schlesinger, and Luke Thallon.

Set in a home in rural England, the play focuses on a woman's search for “seeds of hope.” The production marks playwright Bartlett and director Goold's first collaboration following their international award-winning production of King Charles III.

Albion features designs by Miriam Buether, lighting design by Neil Austin, sound design by Greg Clarke, and casting by Amy Ball.
