CastAndLoose Live! In association with the all-woman production company BanterGirl, will return to Joe’s Pub to take on gender in casting April 27. BanterGirl Saves the World will see a line-up of performers do hilarious send-ups of some of the worst casting notices across theatre, film and TV.
The line up includes Marsha Stephanie Blake (Orange Is The New Black), Mashuq Deen (New Dramatists), Aparna Nancherla (Late Night with Seth Meyers), Shakina Nayfack (Difficult People), Maysoon Zayid (Most Watched TED Talk of 2014) and special musical guest Amy Jo Jackson (54 Below.) Tickets are from $20; the show is at 7 PM.
