Anthony Marble will star in the duplicitous title role of Jeffrey Hatcher's intimate stage adaptation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.

Edward Stern directs the production that runs March 18-April 12 as the final offering of the 2008-2009 season at the Rep. Following its St. Louis run, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde will arrive at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

The cast of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde will also feature Anderson Matthews (Gabriel Utterson, Edward Hyde), Scott Schafer (Sir Danvers Carew, Richard Enfield), O.F. Sanderson (Inspector, Edward Hyde), Katie Fabel (Elizabeth Jelkes), Kyle Fabel (Dr. H.K. Lanyon, Police Doctor, Surgical Student, Edward Hyde) and Bernadette Quigley (Poole, Surgical Student, Police Doctor, Edward Hyde).

According to St. Louis Rep, "A brutal, mysterious figure has begun to haunt the London streets, committing murder under cloak of darkness, while respected Dr. Henry Jekyll displays increasingly alarming, erratic behavior. Jekyll’s friends confront the monstrous Mr. Hyde in an attempt to unlock the puzzles of this tortured soul, but only Hyde’s beautiful mistress may hold the solution."

Designing the production are Robert Mark Morgan (scenic design), Elizabeth Covey (costume designer), Thomas Hase (lighting designer) and Rusty Wandall (sound designer).
