Directed by Anthony J. Cantalupo, the cast will feature Tony Award nominee Jonathan C. Kaplan (Falsettos, The Diary of Anne Frank), Andre Ward (Rock of Ages, Xanadu), Michael Kostroff (Disney Channel's "Sonny with a Chance"), Hayley Podschun (Hairspray, Anything Goes), Robert Hager (Spring Awakening, How To Succeed…), Josh Sassanella (Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark), Justin Bowen (Chaplin), Enrico Rodriguez (Rent; Zanna, Don't!), Courtney Reed (In the Heights, Mamma Mia!), CJ Pawlikowski, Jared Picone (Dear Edwina), Liz Froio and Sarah Nicole Ambrose.

Readings will be offered at 11 AM and 3 PM.

Plop features music and lyrics by Intrabartolo, who will serve as the reading's musical director, and a revised book by Kenneth Finkle (Alive and Well).

Set against the backdrop of 90s pop music, here's how Plop is described: "When everybody's favorite pop band realizes they're the last to know their money's gone, the boys quit playing games and say bye bye bye to their shady manager in a larger than life tale of living in one direction – no strings attached. Plop is a modern-day showbiz musical – a Dreamgirls for the 90s – that takes the audience on a pulsating trip through pop decadence while paying homage to the Max Martin sound that defined an era."

The musical was seen in a May 2012 workshop in Manhattan, and plans are underway for a summer 2013 commercial production in Orlando, FL. Other members of the creative team include Jack DePalma (creative consultant), Keith Caggiano (sound designer) and Rachel Bauder and Mark Stys (production stage managers). Musical arrangements and orchestrations are by Special Guest Music Productions/Ethan Popp and Bryan Crook.
