The epic Vietnam-set musical, running Feb. 9-21, will be staged by Bruce Lumpkin. Miss Saigon first played TUTS in 2001, also under Lumpkin's direction. Michelle Gaudette will choreograph with musical direction by Thom Culcasi.
Kunze will star as American G.I. Chris, opposite Chua as Kim and Foronda as the Engineer; each appeared in the Broadway production of the musical. Miss Saigon will also feature Philip Michael Baskerville as John, Jessica Rush as Ellen and Steven Eng as Thuy.

Les Miserables songwriters Schönberg and Boublil collaborated with Richard Maltby, Jr. on the 1989 musical Miss Saigon, which took inspiration from the Puccini opera Madama Butterfly. Set during the fall of Vietnam, the musical centers on an American G.I. and a young Vietnamese prostitute who fall in love against the backdrop of the war. When Saigon falls and the Americans pull out, the young woman is left behind.
