News Casting Announced for New Off-Broadway Musical A Lasting Impression Casting has been announced for the new musical A Lasting Impression, which will play a limited engagement at The 4th Street Theatre beginning Aug. 22.

Directed by Marlo Hunter, performances will continue through Aug. 26.

The cast will be led by Kate Ferber (Ghost Brothers of Darkland County), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal national tour) and Barrett Wilbert Weed (Lysistrata Jones) with Leslie Alexander, Garen McRoberts, Taylor Noble and Krista Pioppi.

A Lasting Impression features book, music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak.

"The story, three versions of the same narrative," press notes state, "is told by its three leads, Josh and sisters Kali and Simone Blanche, each through his or her own artistic medium. Josh, a once guarded journalist, acts as its narrator, using old taped interviews and pictures to guide us through his memory of the two sisters. Kali, a manic musician, is the piece’s composer, moving in and out of 'her band' as the story unfolds. Simone, a young painter, controls the evolution of what begins as a blank set, and comes to life through the addition of her visual art. A Lasting Impression is about impressions that we make through love on those close to us, and through art on those we may never meet."

The production will have lighting design by Amith Chandrashaker, sound design by Julian Evans and set design by Madeleine Rose M. Parsigian with musical direction by Eli Zoller. Rob Intile, Jr and Annie Knickman produce.

The 4th Street Theatre is located at 83 East 4th Street. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased in advance at http://alastingimpressionnyc.eventbrite.com or 15 minutes prior to each performance at the door.
