News Casting Announced for Regional Premiere of Disney's On the Record Casting has been announced for the tri-state regional premiere of Disney’s On the Record, a musical revue and theatrical celebration of 75 years of Disney music, which will play the White Plains Performing Arts Center’s main stage June 20-29.

Featuring 64 Disney songs, the revue will feature the talents of Chelsey Alfredo, Joseph Bellino, Alvaro Francsico, Devin Lewis, Gina Noto, Triona O’Callagahan, Paulette Oliva and Eric Pagan.

This production is directed by Frank Portanova with musical staging by Lexie Frare and musical direction by Stephen Ferri. A live orchestra will be featured on stage.

Disney’s On the Record, according to press notes, "features classic songs from a variety of live action and animated Disney films and television series, Broadway musicals and even Disneyland attractions. It’s the story of a recording session that changes the lives of a young unknown who is about to get her big break, a pop diva who is about to meet her match, and a matinee idol who is about to meet the 'new kid' who could take his place."

Disney’s On the Record was conceived as a new show meant specifically for touring on the road. Musical arranger and supervisor David Chase collaborated with director and choreographer Robert Longbottom, under the guidance of Thomas Schumacher, producer and president, Disney Theatrical Productions. After opening in Cleveland in 2004, the production toured for nine months, visiting 24 cities in the United States.

All performances are at the White Plains theatre, located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains. For tickets visit the theatre box office, purchase the tickets online at www.wppac.com or call (914) 328-1600.
