"Combining a spy thriller with farcical comedy and ingenious theatrical invention," The 39 Steps, press notes state "is an engaging, fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theater. Closely following the storyline of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film, the play features more than 150 characters brought to life by a cast of just five actors."
The 39 Steps is adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and from the movie by Alfred Hitchcock with an original concept by Nobby Dimon and Simon Corble.
All performances are at the White Plains theatre, located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains. For tickets visit www.wppac.com or call (914) 328-1600.
