News Casting Announced for York's 4@15: Four New 15-Minute Musicals As previously announced, the York Theatre Company — in a partnership with the University of California, Irvine's New York Satellite Program — will present 4@15: Four New 15-Minute Musicals April 18 on the York Stage at the Theatre at St. Peter's Church.

Casting and additional information for this one-night-only event have been announced.

Four writing teams have written four original mini-musicals that will be performed by 32 students of the New York Satellite Program. Brian Blythe will direct the evening with musical direction by Tammy Holder. Show time is 7:30 PM.

The writing teams include Tom Kenaston (composer-lyricist) and Tom Paitson Kelly (librettist-lyricist), Robby Stamper (composer) and Arianna Rose (lyricist), Jim Colleran (composer-lyricist-librettist), and Miriam H. Daly (composer-lyricist-librettist).

The line-up for 4@15: Four New 15-Minute Musicals follows.

Still Life at the Golden Age
Book, music and lyrics by Jim Colleran
Cast: Patrick Burns, Elizabeth Cox, Micaela De Laura, Mylissa Malley, Tony McConville, Kaitlyn Robrock, Laila Shamsavari, Melissa Staab "The Golden Age Rest Home faces certain financial ruin unless its local telethon can raise some quick cash. It's up to meticulous young Jason to mastermind the whole crazy show. "What if one day you just decided to walk into a stranger’s house and start all over with a new life? Inspired by the play Family 2.0 by Walter Wykes, [the musical] takes a look at how the 'grass is always greener' and how things aren’t always as they seem through the eyes of a family in 1958."

Cast: Cambria Beilstein, Kaylen Danz, Laura Hartley, Lauren Marks, Kristen Rude, Shawn Vincent, John Walbolt, Seth Weiner

"Kaylen's parents made her move to a new school in the middle of her senior year. As the other kids pigeonhole her as the new girl, she finds refuge by befriending Laura—a girl with an unconventional phobia."

"Welcome to Halfway Camp, a reform camp for naughty, teenage, juvenile delinquent girls. Film noir meets women's prison exploitation flicks in this short musical, which also dares to take on Watergate and the relativity of truth. Did we mention the girls are naughty?"
