Casting has been announced for the Bard SummerScape production of Acquanetta, a new musical by composer Michael Gordon and librettist Deborah Artman that will run July 11–21 in Annandale–On–Hudson, New York.

Tony-nominated Oklahoma! director Daniel Fish helms the musical inspired by the eponymous horror film star who appeared in Captive Wild Woman, Jungle Woman, The Sword of Monte Cristo, and Tarzan and the Leopard Woman.

The cast includes Rebecca L. Hargrove, Amelia Watkins, Eliza Bagg, Christopher Burchett, and Timur, alongside members of the Choir of Trinity Wall Street and the Bang on a Can Opera ensemble under the baton of Grammy-nominated conductor Julian Wachner.

The creative team includes scenic designer Amy Rubin, video designer Joshua Higgason, costume designer Terese Wadden, lighting designer Barbara Samuels, sound designer Garth MacAleavey, and dramaturg Michael R. Jackson.

The musical premiered at the Prototype Festival last year.
