News Casting Complete for FringeNYC World Premiere Musical Graveyard Shift Patti Allison, Connie Jackson, Eddie Zamora and Tonilyn Hornung will star in the musical Graveyard Shift, which will make its world premiere as part of the New York International Fringe Festival in August.

Ren Casey has penned book, music and lyrics for the new musical about a zombie-inducing virus, which he will also direct. Choreography is by Sydney Skybetter. Graveyard Shift will run Aug. 13-25 at the Minetta Lane Theatre.

The cast features Eddie Zamora as Petey, Tonilyn Hornung as Ellie, as well as stage veteran Patti Allison (Fanny Hill, Orpheus Descending, Angel) as Ruth, Connie Jackson (Dreamgirls) as Sharonda, Lara Hughes as Stacy, David Hussey as Rick, Nicholas J. Leinbach as Floyd, Colleen Peterson as Janet, as well as Reed Armstrong, Katherine Fullan, Jovial Kemp and the dancers of Skybetter & Associates.

In Graveyard Shift, press notes state, "The President of the United States has just informed the nation that a horribly contagious virus is spreading, turning citizens into bloodthirsty zombies. The entire country is in panic mode, but the employees on the graveyard shift at the ValueVille Superstore stay calm as they attempt to survive the night…by locking themselves in. With a pack of hungry zombies outside and some of the employees acting strange, as the graveyard shift ticks on, lives are lost, love is found, blood is shed, and the employees at ValueVille learn first hand how precious life really is."
