Regional News Casting Complete for North Shore’s Young Frankenstein The Mel Brooks musical will play the Massachusetts venue in August.

Complete casting has been announced for North Shore Music Theatre's upcoming production of the Mel Brooks-Thomas Meehan musical Young Frankenstein, which will play the Massachusetts venue August 15-27.

Directed and choreographed by Kevin P. Hill, the cast will be led by Brad Bradley (Igor), Tom Gleadow (Inspector Kemp, Hermit), Tommy Labanaris (Frederick Frankenstein), Brooke Lacy (Inga), Brittney Morello (Elizabeth), Brian Padgett (The Monster), and Sandy Rosenberg (Frau Blucher).

The ensemble will include Purdie Baumann, Jason Brown, Matthew Chappell, Joy Clark, Briana Fallon, Daniel Gold, Cameron Hobbs, Kendall Hope, Danielle Marie GQ, Stephanie Moskal, Cara Salerno, Kristen Schoen-Rene, David Visini, Zach Williams, Chris Woods, and Josh Zacher.

Based on Brooks' classic film comedy of the same name, Young Frankenstein follows Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to complete his grandfather's masterwork and bring a corpse to life. Songs include “The Transylvania Mania,” “He Vas My Boyfriend,” and “Puttin’ On The Ritz.”

The creative team also includes music director Milton Granger, scenic designer Kyle Dixon, original costume designer William Ivey Long, costume coordinator Sandra Pelletier, lighting designer Jack Mehler, sound designer Don Hanna, wig and hair designer Kurt Alger, production stage manager Natalie A. Lynch, assistant stage manager Dakotah Wiley Horan, and assistant music director Shane Parus.

Young Frankenstein is produced for North Shore Music Theatre by Bill Hanney (owner/producer), Kevin P. Hill (producing artistic director), and Tom Amos (associate producer).
