News Casting Complete for West End Bow of New Musical The Go-Between The company will be led by the previously announced Michael Crawford.

The West End production of The Go-Between has announced its full cast. The show begins performances May 27 prior to an official opening June 7 at the Apollo Theatre.

Based on the classic novel by L. P. Hartley and adapted by David Wood, The Go-Between is a new musical with a score written by Richard Taylor.

Joining the previously announced Michael Crawford are Issy Van Randwyck, who will play the role of Mrs. Maudsley, with Ted and Marian, the lovers who embark on a forbidden affair and for whom Leo (to be played by Crawford) acts as the go-between, will be taken by Stuart Ward (seen in the West End in Once) and Gemma Sutton (Baby June in Gypsy).

The young Leo Colston will be played in alternation by Luka Green, William Thompson and Johnny Evans Hutchison.

Also in the cast are Julian Forsyth, Stephen Carlile, Silas Wyatt-Barke, Jenni Bowden and John Addison.
