Featuring a cast of 75, the show will be directed by Drew Baker, with musical supervision and direction by James Draisey, sets and lighting by Ben Rogers and choreography by Lizzie Gee.
Children of Eden will feature Pearce as Noah, Papanicolaou as Shem, Bowen as Aysha, Tonge as Aphra, Louise Dearman as Eve, Oliver Thornton as Adam, Anton Stephans as Father, Russell Grant as Snake, Gareth Gates as Cain, Brenda Edwards as Mama Noah, Lauren Samuels as Yonah, Waylon Jacobs as Japeth, John Wilding as Abel, Aaron Sidwell as Ham, Ben Radcliffe as Young Cain and Marcus Billany as Young Abel. The evening will conclude with a guest appearance by Kerry Ellis.
The storytellers include Craig Rhys Barlow, Matt Brinkler, Chloe Hart, Joanna Kirkland, Gemma Sandzer and Robbie Scotcher.
The musical, based on the book of Genesis, is described in press materials as being about parents, children and faith, with a message that the hardest part of love is letting go.
It is being staged to raise awareness of the chronic and debilitating condition Crohn’s disease, and all proceeds will be donated to Crohn's and Colitis UK.
