News Casting Set for Gay-Themed Lightning Field Casting has been announced for Lightning Field, part of the New York International Fringe Festival.

David Ozanich's play will be directed by Jared Coseglia and will feature the talents of Ron McClary as Gerrit, Bekka Lindström as Lori, Cory Grant as Andy and H. Clark as Sam. Lightning Field will play The Flea Theatre Aug. 13-28. The Lightning Field explores the new American family. "With the looming possibility of a marriage proposal," reads a production notice, "a gay New York couple — Sam and Andy — make a pilgrimage to Walter De Maria’s world famous art installation, The Lightning Field. When they realize that their relationship mirrors that of their divorced parents, the resulting storm is an explosion of startling and raw emotions."

The Lightning Field will offer performances Aug. 13 at 5:45 PM, Aug. 17 at 8 PM, Aug. 19 at 3:30 PM, Aug. 21 at 12:20 PM, Aug. 24 at 7:15 PM and Aug. 28 at 12:15 PM.
