On January 19, the Casting Society of America presented the 32nd Annual Artios Awards for achievement in casting for theatre, film, and television. The ceremony took place in two concurrent presentations, one in New York City and one in Los Angeles. The New York City event, hosted by Michael Urie, took place at Stage 48.

Hamilton continues to garner awards, as its casting director, Bethany Knox, took home the prize for New York Broadway Theatre. Broadway’s latest smash hit, Dear Evan Hansen, took home the prize for New York Theatre Comedy and Musical for its Off-Broadway mounting at Second Stage.
